Scott started teaching Pilates in 1982 and has seen many changes in the fitness industry during the last 30 years. Scott teaches a modified form of Pilates that responds to advances in the field of kinesiology. His teaching incorporates some aspects of Classical Pilates, plyometrics and other fitness modalities. Using the trained eye of a professional ballet dancer, Scott focuses on postural alignment, maintaining harmony of movement throughout the body.
His guiding principle is that methods and modalities are only tools and must be adapted to serve the individual.
